Term 4 is always a bittersweet time when we bid farewell to our Year 13s.  The Class of 2023 have been a wonderful group and will be missed.  We also bid farewell to a small number of Year 12s and wish them well.  It has been a busy term focused on preparing for, and completing, NCEA examinations.  I wish all senior students a restful holiday break.

Senior Academic Prizegiving

Leavers’ Dinner
On Thursday, 1 December our Class of 2023 celebrated their graduation with family and teachers at the Ellerslie Events Centre.  It was a wonderful evening.  Many thanks to Mr Ardern and the Prefects for their organisation of this celebration.

Howick Youth Council

Sancta Maria College has been represented well on the Howick Youth Council in 2022 by Sandra Heruela, Sean Carlos, Ivy Oliviera, and Alannah Santoso.  Their hard work was acknowledged recently, at the HYC Annual Review.  We appreciate your service over the past two years.

In 2023, Jonarren Pulevaka and Jemma McGregor will join Alannah Santoso on the Howick Youth Council.  We look forward to their contribution on behalf of Sancta Maria College next year.
