East Auckland Career Expo

Years 11 and 12 visited the inaugural East Auckland Schools Career Expo on Thursday 29 June. Students learned about a wide range of career opportunities from a huge range of providers.

There was a significant range of tertiary providers present, in addition to the Defence Force and emergency services. Some students commented that they found the Expo highly useful as it exposed them to career pathways that they might not otherwise have considered, whilst others enjoyed being able to explore tertiary courses in more depth.

A huge thank you to the Careers and Transition team – Mrs Rogers and Mrs King – for all their hard work helping to arrange the event.
