Mid year reports were released at the conclusion of Term 2.
These reports provide you with a good gauge of how your child/ren are tracking with their learning across all subjects, as well as providing next steps for learning. Please refer to the colour coding and descriptor guidelines to help you understand your child’s report.
Reports are a great time to stop, reflect and discuss what’s going well for your child at school, what support they feel they may need at home and discuss progress towards goals or setting new goals for the second half of the year.
Receiving your reports can be a cause for great pride and celebration, and sometimes they can be a little deflating leading to tricky conversations. The Parenting Place has a great resource for helping you to discuss school reports for your child here.
Teachers will be available to discuss student progress and next steps on Thursday 25 July 4.00 – 7.30pm in the Auditorium. We invite all parents to book interviews but do ask parents who received an ‘interview request’ to prioritise this event. Interview bookings can be made on https://www.schoolinterviews.co.nz using the event code: ‘tt3p2’ from Friday 5 July through to Wednesday 24 July.
