Mānawatia a Matariki!

We have enjoyed celebrating Matariki as a college community over the past couple of weeks. The highlight of this year’s celebrations was our inaugural Matariki Dinner held on Thursday 27 June in our Auditorium.

It was an amazing showcase of the immense talent in our kapa haka roopu and an awesome opportunity for us to embrace this year’s theme of “Mataraki Heri Kai” by gathering together with whānau for a beautifully prepared feast.

A huge thank you to all the staff involved, led by our Te Pou Arataki – Mrs Averil Hiddleston, and the wonderful parent volunteers.

Tēnā rawa atu koutou, a big thank you to our amazing sponsors who donated kai and raffle/silent auction prizes for our Matariki Dinner Fundraiser.

We really appreciate the huge tautoko from the following businesses: New Zealand Warriors; All Blacks Experience; Eden Park Catering; Moana Rd; Hoyts; Weta Workshop Unleashed; Bed, Bath & Beyond Botany; Rodney Wayne Botany; The Lomi Room; Christies Ormiston; Toyworld Botany; Harvey Norman; AJ Hackett Bungy; The Meat Box; The Body Shop; Farmers Box; Samāori; Goode Brothers Botany

All funds raised will go to purchasing kapa haka uniforms so that our students can perform competitively.
