We had a wonderful evening showcasing the work of SMC students from the Howick Youth Art Awards held earlier this year. The news about a community covid case did affect numbers but it was still a wonderful celebration of the talent of SMC students. We had a generous donation by a member of the SMC community, consisting of 3 prizes. An independent panel of three judges looked carefully at all of the work and the following students were awarded the prizes:
3rd Prize – Amanda Brabant
2nd Prize – Finley Dougherty
1st Prize – Lance Zuniga
We will be recognising these students in a school assembly when we get back to school.
