At the end of last week, we celebrated our five Year 13 international students in a Graduation ceremony: Justin Wang, Lily Zhou, Quito Jugo, Jiaxuan Chen and Tran Hai Yen Nguyen.

It was wonderful to have many family members join them and in particular we had two families travel from their home country to celebrate with us. Jiaxuan Chen, an International Prefect, has been with us since Year 7! His mother came from China to see him finish his last year of secondary school. Quito Jungo was joined by his parents from the Philippines, and other host families, teachers and Senior Leaders joined us to mark this special occasion.

Ms Moore joined them at a lunch that afternoon to complete the week of many events. We wish them all well as they begin their final exams this week and go on to tertiary or higher education.

We have a small number of students visiting who are not sitting NCEA, they are instead enjoying various activities planned for them, including a trip away and meeting with other international students from some of our neighbouring eastern schools.
