Welcome to Term 1 of 2025 everyone – we have certainly kicked off another busy year as we welcomed over 20 new international students from around the world to our school whānau.  Please make them all feel welcome as you see them in your classrooms or around the school.

I am also proud to formally welcome our new 2025 International Prefects, Nate Yiu and Eve Salvador to the Student Leadership Team – Nate and Eve have been exemplary students throughout their time with Sancta Maria College and I am so excited to see their contributions and growth this year.

Annual Cockle Bay beach picnic
We once again, took a growing group of international students to Cockle Bay beach for a traditional taste of Kiwi fish and chips, tomato sauce, L&P and Trumpet ice creams.  It was a beautiful day which saw some of our students enjoy the ocean and sand for the first time.
