It has been tough saying farewell to some of our Japanese students!

Twelve of our international student team, from Japan, have returned home after sharing some lovely experiences and making wonderful friends within our school community.

The cohort have thoroughly enjoyed:

• our school Pōwhiri which officially welcomed them into our school whānau
• a great trip to Cockle Bay beach for fish and chips and, of course, L&P!
• our school Athletics Day
• a trip to Auckland’s Sky Tower to enjoy the magnificent views and take in the All-Blacks Experience and activities
• an Easter egg hunt and Hot Cross buns
• making some wonderful friendships and connections.

Thank you to all the staff, students, and Sancta Maria College whānau who have made our international students feel so welcome during Term 1 – they have had an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.
