Physical Education and Health
The Year 12PES camp at Tāwharanui was a memorable three days filled with challenge, resilience, and plenty of highlights. Despite facing some tough weather conditions, students embraced the experience and made the most of every opportunity. From surfing at Anchor Bay to snorkelling at Goat Island, there were plenty of moments of adventure and achievement. Most importantly, the camp was a chance for students to step outside their comfort zones, build connections, and create lasting memories together.

The Year 11PES camp to the Coromandel was an unforgettable experience, highlighted by the challenge of hiking up the Pinnacles and spending the night in the hut. Students showed great determination and teamwork throughout the climb, supporting each other along the way. Some groups took the extra step to reach the summit for both sunset and sunrise, creating some truly special moments. The trip was a fantastic opportunity for students to push themselves, enjoy the outdoors, and build strong connections, with everyone returning safely and plenty of great memories made.

Enjoying the sunshine and beautiful conditions, Our Year 11 Health students completed their NCEA assessment which explored strategies for reducing stress and anxiety at the Auckland Botanic Gardens earlier this term.
