College Sport Auckland Aquathon Event 2
Held at Point England Reserve, our students achieved the following podium placings:
- Sophia Neems: 1st Under 16 Girls Individual
- Ava Neems and Jason Raad: 2nd Under 19 Mixed Team
Auckland Championships Senior Volleyball tournament
Our Senior Volleyball teams’ season culminated at the Auckland Championships tournament at Pulman Arena. Held over three days, our teams achieved the following results:
- Senior Girls: 13th Division 2
- Senior Boys: 13th Division 3
College Sport Auckland Athletics Championships
Held at Mount Smart Stadium, our Top Performers from our school Athletics Day went on to compete against the best athletes from around Auckland. Congratulations to the following students who achieved Top 10 placings in their events:
- Arnika Lam (Senior Girls): 8th Shot Put
- Emjay Romero (Junior Boys): 7th 100m, 10th 200m
- Cesar Garcia Soto (Intermediate Boys): 3rd 400m, 7th 200m, 9th 800m
Orienteering Sprint Series Championship finalists:
Over several weeks, a large group of Sancta Maria College students competed in the Eastern Region Orienteering Sprint Series. Accumulating points across the series, the following students placed in the Top 10 for their age group, and qualified for the Auckland Championships event on Sunday 6 April:

Y7/8 Interschool Swimming
After their outstanding performances at our Year 7/8 Swimming Sports, a handful of students went on to compete at the South Eastern Zone Swimming Championships. Congratulations to the following students who achieved podium placings:
- Ariana Neems (Year 8): 3rd 50m Breaststroke
- Tiffany Chen (Year 7): 1st 50m Breaststroke, 2nd 50m Freestyle, 2nd 50m Backstroke, 3rd 100m Freestyle
- Tiffany also competed at the Auckland Championships Swimming event and finished 7th in the 50m Freestyle Final.
