Senior Volleyball season
We have four Senior Volleyball teams competing in the Southern Zone season at Pulman Arena on Thursdays. All Sancta Maria College supporters are welcome. Congratulations to the following students who competed at the College Sport Auckland Aquathon Championships:
- Ava Neems & River Swaris – 2nd place U19 Mixed Team
- Sophia Neems – 4th place U16 Girls Individual
- Fiona Sheng & Eirynn Belonio – 17th place U16 Girls Team
Sports volunteers needed
We are inviting expressions of interest for any people in the community who are available to support our students through coaching, managing, refereeing or transporting our teams in 2025. The number of sports teams we have is dependent on the number of volunteers we receive, as each team requires at least one adult to accompany them. Sports requiring volunteers: Badminton, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Netball, Table Tennis, Rugby.

Our annual school Athletics Day was held on Friday 21 February. Students enjoyed a variety of competitive and social activities on the track and field, with a wonderful display of House spirit. Thank you to all students and staff who participated in the event as well as the whānau and friends who came along to support.
