The Year 13’s careers interviews are well under way. Students are called up for their appointments with Mrs Rogers or may book via Careers Central. We have been lucky enough to have AUT University and University of Canterbury in school to deliver their overview presentations over the past few weeks.
University of Auckland delivered their Overview Presentation via Zoom on Wednesday, 23 March. They ran through the courses they offer as well as important information about entry requirements and scholarships – we hope our Year 13’s found this session informative.
Gateway – Work Experience Opportunities
Gateway offers Year 11 to Year 13 students the opportunity to explore careers through ‘on the job’ work experience while studying towards NCEA. Most options involve one day a week out of school while completing unit standards during your own time. Come and see Mrs King in the Careers Centre for more information.
