The Australian and New Zealand Council for the Care of Animals in Research and Teaching (ANZCCART) is calling for entries to its 2022 Secondary Student Essay Competition – aiming to inspire students to think critically about the role animal research plays in today’s society and to engage with the difficulties that surround animal use.

The deadline for submissions is 29 August 2022, with a first prize of $100, second prize of $75 and a third prize of $50.
